The New England Aquarium

What a great time. This was one of the first "modern" aquariums featuring a huge center tank that was unique at the time it was built.

Shooting here is quite challenging. The large tank gives everything a blue-green cast. In addition, low light and flash foiling glass makes this a challenging available light place to shoot. I really wish I had my new 18-200 lens with the VR to help reduce all the shake my pics had, especially of the penguins. The 18-55 DX I used just wasn't fast enough. Even better would be a fast prime somewhere 30-50mm. Oh well.. I am sure I will return. Some of the pictures came out well, especially the well lit tropical fish and jelly tanks.
