Me I have lived in New Hampshire, "Live Free or Die", since 1989. I grew up in the Boston area but moved to New Hampshire after a brief stint in the Air Force. I had been stationed at Clark Air Force Base, RP. Good times! Occasionally I am a student at the University of New Hampshire but mostly I make a living as a data processor.

I got my first camera when I was ten. It was an Anscom Memar that had belonged to my Great Grandmother. Using it I learned about f-stops and shutter speeds and the joy of "guess the distance" focusing. Surprisingly, I took a lot of decent slides with it. After I got out of High School I took a long hiatus from photography until I discovered the wonders of digital photography 4 years ago. I purchased a Minolta Dimage 7i and have been enjoying photography ever since. The freedom digital gives me to experiment without the cost of film has been fantastic. I am now shooting with a Nikon D80. It has been quite an experience to step up to a SLR. The speed and handling of this camera are a joy compared to my old Minolta.

Now I spend my time looking for more opportunities to take pictures and further develop my skills. I continue to struggle with my speedlight (SB-600) and thus far flash photography has proven to be difficult for me. I also am continuing to develop my skills at post-processing. I have been using Adobe Lightroom which has proven, along with my aging copy of Photoshop 7, to be a great way for me to work with my images. I finally decided it was time I shared some of my work, however weak it may be, so I can continue to mature as a photographer.
